Customers say

Customers find the sticky pads work well on flat surfaces and have many uses, though they report mixed experiences with adhesion - while some say they stick to anything and everything, others mention very little adhesion. Moreover, the pads are easy to clean but can become dirty and hard to wash, and while they hold items securely, customers report phones falling off. Additionally, customers find them very hard to remove from phone cases and consider them not worth the money.

These Things Work Great!

These Things Work Great!
I bought these gel pads to use in my Jeep Wrangler to keep my phone holder from continually falling off my dash. The phone holder has a suction cup that would not stay suctioned to the dash. One of these gel pads did the trick and now my phone holder stays right where I put it. What I like about these pads is that they are washable and reusable! The inside of my Wrangler gets super dirty sometime from the places I go (I'm a professional wildlife photographer), so when I get home to clean her out, I can just remove the phone holder, pull off the gel pad, wash it, let it dry and then place it back on my cleaned off dash board and start all over. These things work great and I have already had several Jeepers ask me for the link.

I love these little sticky gel pads, they stick great but you have to be careful where you put them! I accidentally put them over the hazard button in my car and almost pulled the button off when I tried to move it. They are sticky enough that it also tries to pull my lifecase off my cellphone unless I'm careful about I how place it. I have used these on the wall tile in the bathroom to keep my cell close while showering and it works great for this too. They will eventually lose the ability to hold items if their surface becomes dusty, but all you have to do is rinse it off and they are good to go again. Definately worth the money if you need something held secure.

The Premium Fixate Cell Pads by CloudValley are the best and coolest find I have encountered in a very long time. The cost is amazing, too! My son gave me one of the pads as a gift (he was so amazed with his purchase of them that he has been handing them out to family, friends and co-workers!). Once I gave mine a try, I was so impressed I bought two packages of the pads for myself.
    So, about the product:
It is a small circular pad that has Spiderman-like suctioning/sticking ability without ANY residue. I have the pads on my walls, on my car dash board, on cabinets, etc. I can position and re-position my electronics and tchotchkes (and/or the pad itself) as many times as I like without "using up" the sticking power of the pad. When it becomes less sticky over time, due to dust or fingerprints, you simply wash it with water and it is back to 100%. Mine haven't even gotten close to this point yet. But I can vouch for the integrity of the pad after washing, as I have witnessed my son demonstrating the capability.
I strongly recommend this product. Its uses are endless and the price is negligible.

These are not really ideal for many things you want to stick temporarily and retrieve regularly. I have one pad on the drawer of my desk (particle board) and it sticks really well, but putting my battery powered mobile hotspot device on the pad was a bad idea. The idea was to get it off the desktop and it's not heavy so it seemed a good candidate for a gel pad. Unfortunately I couldn't get it off the pad without it pulling the battery pack out of the back of the unit and then it was really hard to get the battery pack off the pad without damaging it. I had more success using the pad for things without a completely flat back surface and not pressing them against the pad firmly. It worked well for a couple of thumb drives that I only put on partially and a small remote. I could get the items off as needed and reattach them as needed. If you want semi-permanent attachment I have no doubt things with slick backs would stay attached well for a long time. Some of the items I expected to use the pad for aren't going to be suitable, but some other items work fine and can be affixed, retrieved and re-stuck multiple times with no problem. The pad pulled away a small amount from the desk wood surface when some strongly stuck items were pulled off, but did not come free and didn't have to be pressed down firmly again. Only time will tell how long I can stick odd items to the pad, pull them free and restick them before the pad needs to be pulled off the desk and washed off for reuse, but so far that looks like a fairly distant need.

It's a pretty simple product. You use it to increase friction grip between 2 surfaces. I use them for my flight sim stuff, it sticks a joystick and throttle to the desk pretty solidly, but it can still be pulled up and moved without much hassle. They're gel, so if you leave them out and uncovered they'll be coated in dust and detritus in a week. That's just the nature of this product, they can be rinsed off and re used.

This is great in theory but it's so super sticky, it destroys the surface you stick it on. I have an older phone I use to play music on but I do not use as a phone anymore. I stuck one of these pads on my wall and then the phone on the pad. It stuck great and was so handy. When I went to remove it, it was so sticky it ripped a hole in my wall. The top layer of the paint and wall came right off. Then I tried to remove my phone from it. It ripped off the backing of my iPhone. By the way I only purchased this a week or so ago. So it's not like it has been sitting for months and years making it harder to come off. I just bought these.

I wasn't sure about these, but I wanted to try them to hold my phone to the cabinet while I'm cooking.
To test this, I took a plastic package that contained a 20 inch chainsaw blade (which is heavier than my phone by far). The fixate pad held the package to the cabinet all night (12hrs) with no slipping, movement, or drooping.
I'm impressed. I plan on using these to hold up all my electronics to the wall so charging will be less chaotic.

Editing to add: after repeated use, loses some stickiness and washing doesn't get it back to new. also has trouble sticking to the texture of walls (that aren't super smooth like glass or metal). Still a worthwhile purchase.

I bought these to replace Velcro tabs on a pet mat for my car (the mat is used to protect the back of an SUV -- it has flaps that attach to the sides of the car (not the carpet) to fully protect the area. Supposedly, these pads stick to anything and everything ... this is not true. In my case, they either stuck to the car or the mat -- but not to both. I set them in place verified that they were on the car and the mat -- and then put my pooch back there. By the time I got into my car to drive away, the mat was flopped on to my poor unsuspecting pooch -- and he had just been lying on the mat like a good boy. I'm going to give it another try by cleaning them, recleaning the area on the car -- and hopefully, get some success and will update the review then. For now, I vote that you save your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars well it certainly feels like magic. Exactly as advertised

    Mixed feeling about this product.
About the adhesion, well it certainly feels like magic.

Exactly as advertised, holds stuff quite firmly so long as you keep the surface clean and in good contact.
You can take it off and wash it, restores its condition pretty much perfectly.

Only complaint though, is that this thing is so sticky, and the first time I pressed my iPhone hard onto it, I almost had to bend it in order to take the phone off

These work fantastically, and they were priced very fairly. The problem for me was that one of them in the package I got was not like the others and my device fell off of it a few times before I discarded the pad. The rest are amazing, though.
