I like Ball and have used it for years. I highly recommend whether it's lids, rings or the jars to wash in warm soapy water and rinse well. I've read people saying their jam had an unusual "smell" to it. Well it's the rubber from the lids and the jars from processing. ALWAYS wash everything. These lids have a spot you can enter the date making the final product look neat and organized.

Product was fine except 1 set of lids was bent beyond use. Shipping box and box the lids were not damaged.
