I have a digital drawing tablet that also included a removable leg extension assembly that screws into the back to provide adjustable upright positions, similar to a small easel. Well, I lost the fastening screws, and I also did not want to have to unscrew the leg stand every time I desire to pack the tablet into a backpack or a travel case. So, I bought this cutting board, and then trimmed a strip off the bottom and re-fastened it at a 90 degree angle to create a catch along the bottom, and then I fastened the leg-stand apparatus onto the back of the cutting board. I wanted the front surface to be smooth so I put the juice groove on the back side. I love my new tabletop drawing/reading easel. Note: I coated the wood with a thin layer of mineral oil, and it did not absorb much, I still had to wipe much away after 24-hours.

Not like the picture, imperfections !!
This is my 2nd one, first on, split, this one had marks on it! You should know it is NOT like the picture it has curved sides. There are also no “feet” on this do it slides aroun! I put mineral oil in mine, good job too as the stein came off!! Glad it didn’t do this on my food! Not really worth the price!

I ordered four of these boards. Two came in perfect and the other two had severe flaws and imperfections. They are replacing them, and I will return the old ones. However these are the photos of the ones with flaws.
